The Secretary of State's office moved forward Tuesday with a complaint filed against Rich Davis, saying there's probable cause to believe the District 11 Senate candidate's mailers run afoul of campaign finance law.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is prone to signing autographs, but there are at least three things he won't put his name on: American flags, dollar bills and Supervisor Andy Kunasek's copy of grand jury testimony.

The two county officials ran into each Thursday at a West Valley Republican event. And Kunasek had a rather unusual request for the county's top law enforcement official.

More voters are leaving the Republican and Democratic parties and registering as independents, a sign that voters are fed up with both major parties, political experts say.

New statewide registration figures released Tuesday show an increase of nearly 26,000 registered independents and unaffiliated voters since the May 18 special election, giving Arizona a near three-way split between Republicans, Democrats and "others."
